THE GUADELOUPE ZOO is back open
as of MAY 22.

Great news: in agreement with the French government, the park reopened its doors on Friday May 22.

We're delighted to welcome you back, we've missed you.

After these two months of compulsory closure, our team of enthusiasts is more than ever mobilized to prepare our reopening.

Of course, this reopening is only possible if it is accompanied by strict compliance with the sanitary and social distancing measures required to ensure that your visit to the park goes smoothly.

We therefore work hand in hand with the public authorities to apply all health safety recommendations, whether they concern :

  • the installation of information panels,

  • regular surface disinfection,

  • the installation of hydroalcoholic gel dispensers,

  • the installation of plexiglass at the checkouts,

  • and the application of all measures to protect our employees.

Our zoo is set in over 2 hectares of lush tropical forest. You'll be able to stroll through our alleys in complete safety, thanks to the layout of the premises and the sanitary measures put in place by our team.

Your visit will be marked by signs reminding you of the sanitary measures to be observed to prevent any risk linked to Covid-19.

BEFORE YOUR VISIT :

  • We recommend that youbuy your tickets online, to minimize waiting time at the ticket office and contact with our hosts.

  • We suggest that you pay by credit card to limit contact.

  • Finally, we strongly advise you to wear a mask and bring your own hydro-alcoholic gel.

DURING YOUR VISIT :

  • The Guadeloupe Zoo is open every day from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm (last admission at 4:00 pm)!

  • The tour lasts from 1h30 to 2h30 on average.

  • The tour will be one-way to limit contact.

  • To ensure that visits run smoothly and avoid crowding, all events and other seasonal highlights are suspended.

  • Some areas are closed: the bat cave, the insectarium and Tarzan's Kaz.

  • Access to the boutique will be limited to a maximum of 10 people at any one time.

  • We ask you to respect the safety distances between each group of visitors.

  • It's important to wash your hands regularly, and hydroalcoholic gel is available at several points around the zoo.

  • Our teams are equipped with protective masks and wash their hands regularly.

  • Our payment terminals are cleaned regularly. We do our utmost to keep the park as clean as possible; however, if you notice any problems, please do not hesitate to report them to our teams.

  • Your safety and the safety of our carers is our priority, and we do everything we can to ensure it.

  • Due to a shutdown period of more than two months, some park projects have been delayed. We thank you for your understanding.
